Echo Park, Los Angeles:

This shot was taken at Echo Park. Everytime I drive by Echo Park I see these wonderful lotus flowers. They were all in bloom in July. However, I did not make it then to take photos.

I love how this photo is framed, with the trees at the side and downtown Los Angeles in the background.

There is a Lotus Festival every year:
